e9 Web Project

Reflection:
The e9 Web Project  was to create a website that shows how to make links, headings, and creating a basic website.
The process:
for making the e9 website was using and learning the basics over DreamWeaver Adobe. This lead on making the website. Things I learned was on creating the basic websites and how to create links.

Things to do Differently/Same
Theres nothing really to change when we were put through a tutorial to create a basic website.

Conclusion:
Anything involving web is very hard, annoying, and cool all at the same time.

The Rule of Thirds

     The Rule of Thirds:
Today you are about to learn about the rule of thirds and what does the rule of thirds do. The rule of thirds follows up on having an object not being in the middle of a shot. Keeping someone along the four power points to create a better shot.

Tutorial:
Basically, you keep two or more objects to have outside of middle shot. this makes the shot have a better interest in characters and important aspects for the movie.

Rule Of Thirds

Chase Scene

Reflection:

The Chase Scene shows how to take shots from a point A to point B sequence.  In this video, One student leaves the bathroom just to become tagged by another student. Then led on to a chase throughout the school.

Process:

process on making the chase scene was creating multiple shots following  the rule of thirds and the axis line. Also to have the 6 shots in making your clips for the chase scene. Things I learned through this project is to have a good sequence and to have 20 shots for a one minute video.

Things I would have Differently/Same:

I would have done a better job on editing the shots to have a better sequence of the video. Also to have a good understanding of the video's story. I also would want to add music and sound effects in the chase scene. Things to keep the same is idea for the video.

Conclusion:

I had fun making this chase scene with my partner Brett.

Sequence Video

Reflection:
The sequence video is showing a sequence of shots following up the last shot to create a smooth video. The video needs the 6 shots system and to follow the axis line at all times. Then to have record each shot to put it in one video.

Process:
Taken each shot and smacking it into one video. Applying the 6 shots and the rule of thirds. Also to follow the axis line.

What I learned:
I learned on how to further edit videos to create a sequence of a or the story. Using all or most of the 6 shots and following the axis line. I also learned on keeping each shot being 3-4 seconds.

Conclusion:
I would have added all 6 shots in the video.

6ShotSystem Video

6ShotSystem:
This video shows the of the 6 shots, the axis line, and the rule of 3rds. Though my video doesn't show all of the 6 shots. the shots that are included is the wide shot, close up shot, and the medium shot. I did believe that I followed the rule of thirds and the axis line.

Things I would have done differently:
I also would have a better story line that would make more sense as well. I would have also put in all of the 6 shots in the video. I also needed to follow the rule of thirds a lot better.

6 Shots

Today me and my partner had the time to take pictures all around the ONW school building. Using the 6 shots we have made the greatest pictures of all time.

Extreme Close Up

This is the extreme close up shot with the microwave timer, because it was the closest thing for an extreme shot. And because its more closely focused on the timer.

Medium Shot

With the trophies and Brett is the medium shot because you can see the character and the background in one shot.

Close up Shot
This is a close up shot of the Robotics accomplished.  Close ups are for the character to give a better shot of the main character.

Wide Shot

This is a wide shot of the hallway. This gives a view of the whole shot that can explain where the setting can be.

Extreme Wide Shot

An extreme wide shot of the great outdoors, or through a window because we ran out of ideas. This is to show where everything is and where you are.

Over the Shoulder

This is the over the shoulder shot of me, over my shoulder, showing the characters perspective and dialogue when win a scene.

Looking over your "social media"

Reflection over Social Media

I don't often use social media except for the news or to talk to friends who doesn't use or have a phone. Even if I use social media for posting things, think twice before you act, or something like that. Also I would only post towards my friends unless it does not give yourself an option like that. And yes, people have the power, the power of freedom towards speech. But their are laws involved with social media and thats something you need to think about. And remember the government is always watching you... always!

Elevator Pitch

I am an Onw student wanting to learn new interesting things. I accomplished in computers and my knowledge in cars. Im talented in engineering and used to be good in basketball. Though I dont often watch basketball. I can work independently or with other people. I can be very curious with things that will show any interest. I hope my skills and knowledge will help myself and others throughout my life.

3D Modeling: Creating a House

What I learned about 3D Modeling:
I learned on how to take basic shapes and creating a 3d shape. Using a tool from Sketchup, the Push/Pull tool making a 3d shape by pulling the shape upwards. Creating other shapes and putting them together to create a random object. In my case I end up making a house of my choice. Next is making windows and doors, also made a door knob. Then being able to import other complicated objects like a car or a plane. Thats basically what I learned about 3d modeling.

My 10 strengths

How the Project was Made:
First things first is finding a picture that represents yourself, or me in this case, putting the picture into a layer. Creating a layer for every word you type that represents who you are. Then we have to have the words stand out with the picture than having them plain with a boring font. After that we create a video timeline to have all the words move in different ways. And thats the basic rundown on how my 10 strengths Project was made.

Learning anything new?
I learned on how to use a input a picture into the Photoshop. I also learned how to use a video timeline to make the words move basically on their own. then I was able to render a video to then upload to youtube. Then onto my blog to talk about it.

The Bouncing Smiley Face Arc Animation

Summarization:
Learning about the 7th principle of animation, the Arc. The Arc lets the object your animating have a certain curve resembling a U. Like the smiling ball bounce in an Arc, creating an opening to have an introduction to your animation.  Then making a smiley face to merge with the ball to have a smiley face ball. Creating 25 frames and making an arc to have the ball bounce across the screen.

Anything New to learn?
I learned a few new tools and how to merge two layers crating the said smiley face. A new tool is the paint brush and having to make the ground have a gradient (In my case I didn't do it). i also learned about the 7th principle of Animation, that I explained earlier, and by that I mean the summary.

Anything to do differently?
I would have created more frames and using the Stretch and Squash a little better so the animation doesn't look as choppy. Also having the ball look less like the lag you get when you have a bad computer for games.

First Animation: The Bouncing Ball

Bouncy Ball Animation
    The Process of Learning Animation!
Learning the basic of animation was pretty fun. What we learned was the different types of animation and the steps on creating a frame to an animation. Mr. Olson taught about the ways of easing in and out. having an object speed up and slow down to have a real effect to the object, like this ball.

     Animating the Bouncy Ball Process
Creating the bouncy ball took the help of using PhotoShop. Using all the tools to start creating the sky and the ground. Having to create the ball and using timeline to create frames for the animation.
Also having to edit the ball to create a squash like look for the ball to look realistic. and then boom a ball animation.

Things to Change and Things to Stay
Things that would do to keep the same is everything up to this point, from what we learned and tried even with the little mistakes. Things to change would be nothing, everything is fine the way it is. but maybe not for the next project.

Team 4's Awesome Flag!

Team 4 Flag in progress..
Da finished project!
Team 4 did a crazy job creating a one of a kind flag that fits each and everyones personality! Each color represents each of our nature of personality. The colors are blue, black, yellow, and orange along with the symbols, being lightning, a flower, the sun, and the crow. We also based the symbols on our color we have chosen for our flag. Why we didn't color the background of the square because of reasons I don't really have. I think its because we didn't want one since other teams will take a chance with something behind their symbol. Yet everyone on Team 4 had fun with drawing each symbol even if they look like first grade drawing. And I wouldn't know what to do differently for the next activity until we start on it!
